It’s been so long since we’ve connected! I told everyone that I was holding out to appear on the chic new website, but the truth is the Design Department has been super busy putting the finishing touches on our first 2011 collections! Things are abuzz as we gear up for our first trade show of the year, Centurion. We have only a few days left until we unveil our newest designs and things are finally coming together!
Although January is quiet for many companies, it is quite the opposite here at HONORA . Everyone in design have been running like mad to get all of our new samples in time. There have been plenty of trips up and down to the shop to make small revisions, tons of changing colors with L’Array and the small ordeal of pricing, photographing, tagging, bagging every last new design… all to deliver our freshest assortment yet.
I am really excited for the line’s debut, and what’s more, in a few short weeks we will be able to unveil it to all of you! For now I can only tease you with a few thoughts… Want to know my favorite of all the new? Well get ready for HONORA’s first ever Signature collection. This October will mark our 65th anniversary and what better way to celebrate our heritage than by releasing timeless 24/7 looks. Signature was inspired by our popular Pallini collection and features bold sterling silver hardware. Best of all, for those who love traditional with a twist, the Signature Collection is done in all white pearls (yes, you heard me right! New and exciting white pearl jewelry!). I think you will welcome these modernized classics into your colorful HONORA wardrobe.
There is so much more than just the Signature Collection. We will be unveiling new groups featuring edgy curb chains, bold cables and handsome box chains that we are certain show off our luminous pearls in a new light. You can expect to see faceted black onyx and rock crystal nuggets. There will be several exciting new earring and necklace styles for those looking to make a statement. We have really made an effort to switch up the silhouettes and materials you’ve been used to, but in a way that holds true to the HONORA you all know and love. We’re hoping that these latest and greatest designs will appeal to our loyal friends who know how satisfying it is to own and wear HONORA pearls and also hope to catch the attention of those who aren’t fans yet (can you believe them?!?). You know who they are, the fashionista who thinks pearls are for old ladies and business suits… we are counting on you to show her how exciting and versatile pearl jewelry can be.
Ok, I’ve got to calm down now and focus on all of these very unsexy last minute tasks that need to get done before show time… Wait, before I sign off, did I even wish you a Happy New Year? Where are my manners? (I can see my mother shaking her head at her monitor as she reads this…) Happy 2011 Pearl Girls! It is going to be a stellar one, I can already tell.
