For the past 10 years our QVC UK audience has grown to know Ralph as our host for The Honora Collection. He has been working for Honora for over 20 years, originally starting his jewelry career in Honora’s colored-stone division called Kuhns. This extensive gemstone experience has been invaluable towards making Ralph into the expert in Freshwater Pearls that he is today.
Ralph started out in the world of Film and Television and this background has been a major asset helping lead Honora in its advertising campaigns featured in the New York Times as well as magazines such as In Style, Elle and Town & Country. Upon Honora’s company commitment to Freshwater Pearls, Ralph coined our tag line “A Fresh New Look At Pearls.” Ralph remains passionate about film and is a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) to this day.
Ralph received a BA in Sociology from SUNY at Stonybrook and was most recently a member of QVC’s Vendor Advisory Board. Along with Honora’s CEO, Joel Schechter, Ralph travels regularly to China to buy from the world’s largest pearl farmers. He also works closely with Senior Merchandise Manager Larry Lippert to help develop the colorful pearl palette that helps set Honora apart from the rest of the pearl world.
His love of Freshwater Pearls as well as his passion for Honora’s unique and colorful approach to jewelry is evident to anyone who has come to know Ralph over the past decade on QVC UK or, more recently, as our second host on QVC in the United States. In between his rigorous travel schedule between the US, UK and China, Ralph spends time at his home in Hoboken, NJ with his son Jason.

Forest Earring and unfortunately these pearls are really hard to come by and
there is no plan for a matching earring at this time. Hopefully it is

I bought 2 of the 11mm Rondell pearl bracelets from QVC. They are gorgeous. Please, please, please can we have Rondell pearl necklace of 11.5mm at 22 inches – I dislike having to clasp and unclasp necklaces and I love longer length. I would also love if we could have double rows of Rondell pearls to go with my 2 bracelets as I always wear the 2 bracelets together.
I love big, white pearls !! I have lots of pearls but find large ones more glam.

Personal commendation for Mr Michael Schechter.
I’ve seen you demonstrating Honora Products on T V (QVC), and to me you seem to be an easy-going, personable guy so please allow me to be informal.
I’m writing this note to ask you to pop down to the Customer Care Department in person and commend Michael Schechter in recognition for the excellent ‘above the call of duty’ customer service he demonstrated whilst attending to the comments I made about my wife’s cherished Honora Pearl Ring.
If Michael Schechter is not a Vice President then promote him, if Michael Schechter is a Vice President already (is he related to Joel??) then make him your personal apprentice – in either case he deserves a huge, reward-based increase in his next pay cheque.
I leave it to you look into the matter, but reiterate that Michael Schechter gave me what I can only describe as Premiere Customer Care and is a superb ambassador for Honora Pearls.

I have watched all of your programms today and once again indulged myself with your fabulous pearl jewellery. Well done on your tsv, the pearl watch. I am writing because i am heartbroken to see that you did not bring back a 3 bar silver spring bangle which has multi coloured pearls set at the end of the bars ( on the top bar a pistachio coloured pearl, the next bar a mocha, next a plum coloured and on the other side of the bangle a silver pearl, cream and bronze. Having bought this from you a couple of years ago it has become a trademark of mine that i can not live without. Tradgedy struck only this week when one of the pearls snapped clean off. I did manage to rescue the pearl but wondered how or if i could get this repaired or whether you are still making them as i am devestated. I would be so very grateful if you could. Hi Ralph, hope you can help me with my problem. I bought my Honora watch from QVC many many years ago. It has a pink crocodile leather band with a round face and floating pearls. I used to wear it all the time but lately I’ve not worn it for some time and it has stopped working. I cannot remember if it’s battery operated or if it works by movement.
Also wanted to tell you that I love the pearls you bring over and I have many many pieces which I enjoy wearing. Thank you for your lovely jewellery.

I recently ordered a triple strand pearl bracelet from QVC over the Christmas Holiday. It was item number J263750. It was a Christmas gift to myself. However, the first time I wore it the magnetic clasp came apart and I lost the bracelet. I am devastated and want to know how I can get this replaced? I am still paying for this bracelet and I don’t have the bracelet. Could you please tell me how I can get this bracelet without being charged again for another bracelet. It was pretty pricey but it was a gift to myself. Let me know.

I need to return my Honora watch with White leather strap and fresh water pearls running freely round the edge of the face because no one seems to be able to put a new battery in the one jeweller that managed to fit a new battery couldn’t adjust the time. I love my watch and it is my favourite, please can you give me the exact address I have to send it to as I have written to you before and was just told to send it to the NY office. Would like to see some more designs in Sunset I have bought the long ropes in both sunset and peacock (couldn’t choose so bought both!) can’t really afford the really expensive stuff but I’ve got about thirty pieces so far.
